Summary
Christian Sinicropi connaît bien les stars du cinéma.
Il aime les recevoir à La Palme d'or, au coeur de l'Hôtel Martinez, ce lieu historique et emblématique de la Croisette. Pour rendre hommage au 7e art, il a créé 60 plats ou menus inspirés de 60 films qui ont nourri son imaginaire. Sous nos yeux brillant de gourmandise défilent Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain et son Foie gras habillé de pain d'épices qu'une fraîcheur de fraise Tagada accompagne à merveille ; La Guerre des étoiles et son risotto glacé avec garniture de crevettes au melon ; La vie est belle et son astucieux menu Tartines ou encore le fameux cake d'amour de Peau d'âne, qui se déguste avec une couronne de saumon fumé à l'effeuillé de lomo.
Christian Sinicropi a imaginé d'extraordinaires mises en scène dans des assiettes en céramique, spécialement réalisées par Glag, artiste à Vallauris, et photographiées par Jérôme Kelagopian. Michèle Villemur, chroniqueuse gastronomique, a eu la chance de pénétrer dans les cuisines de La Palme d'or. Chaleureusement accueillie par Christian Sinicropi et sa brigade, elle a observé leur savoir-faire pour nous proposer un recueil de recettes d'exception animé par l'humour, l'enthousiasme et la créativité d'un chef aux multiples talents.
