" Je crois pouvoir dire que je suis un fou de spectacle.
J'en ai monté de toutes sortes : dans les opéras et les théâtres bien sûr, mais aussi sur glace, sur l'eau, dans la neige, dans la rue, sur les estrades politiques et les Palais des Sports. et je finis par découvrir que tous les actes de la vie peuvent donner lieu à un spectacle. " L'enfant parle aux animaux qui lui répondent, se déguise en prince ou en princesse, se construit des châteaux en carton.
Puis un jour, devenu adolescent, on lui explique qu'il ne suffit pas d'avoir une couronne pour être roi, qu'il faut cesser de faire dit spectacle pour entrer dans la vie réelle. Moi, je suis un éternel enfant qui croit encore aux contes de fées et c'est bien un conte de fées que je vis puisque je gagne mon pain en m'amusant dans des châteaux en carton-pâte, entouré de charmantes danseuses de french-cancan et de princes d'opérette.
