Summary
Difficile d'imaginer un monde sans photographie... Et pourtant, il y a 200 ans à peine, il était impossible de capturer des images, d'un simple clic, comme nous le faisons aujourd'hui.. Tout a commencé quand des inventeurs ont réussi à mettre au point une étrange boîte noire. Nicéphore Niépce, puis Louis Daguerre, créent ainsi les premiers clichés en noir et blanc. Une contrainte technique, qui deviendra par la suite un véritable choix pour de nombreux photographes. Avec Ansel Adams, Berenice Abbott, Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Klein, Dora Maar, Man Ray, Sabine Weiss et tant d'autres, plongez dans un univers fait d'ombres et de lumières... Car même sans couleurs, le noir et blanc est bien un art aux mille nuances..
