One of the original outsider artists of American cinema, author, screenwriter and director Samuel Fuller never shied away from the shocking, taboo or just plain crazy. Includes "Power of the Press" (Guy Kibbee. 1943/64 min), a Fuller-penned story about a corrupt publisher who gets away with murder; "The Crimson Kimono" (Glenn Corbett. 1959/81 min), written and directed by Fuller, about an intense and complicated love triangle between a witness and two cops tasked with protecting her; "Underworld, U.S.A." (Cliff Robertson. 1960/98 min), where director Fuller takes on the world of organized crime through a vengeful young man who’s infiltrated a gang to find the man who killed his father; and "Scandal Sheet" (John Derek. 1951/82 min), based on Fuller’s novel "The Dark Page," about a newspaper editor who may be implicated in the story his crime-beat reporter is about to break.
