*** Résumé en anglais seulement *** In 2001 Iraq, two American Navy pilots - Butch Masters and Tom Craig - are ordered to bomb an abandoned plant. During the raid, an American soldier gets killed and a secret WMD - a chemical device, called “Rainmaker” designed to destroy oil fields, is stolen. Although the attack order appeared to be false and not the fault of the fighter pilots, the Military court cannot prove the pilots' intentions, and gives them a dishonorable discharge. 7 years later, Craig is working as a trainer pilot for a group of terrorists and Masters is a grease monkey at a small airport. Trying to move on with their lives and put the past behind them, they find themselves on opposite sides of right and wrong. Masters goes to St. Petersburg to try to get a license to fly Russian jets, where he meets old friends and new problems. At the same time, a Kurdish terrorist group is planning to capture part of Northern Iraq and create a new Kurdish state. They plan to use the stolen WMD - Rainmaker - to destroy the oil fields there in order to make the territory less strategically important for the United States. The U.S. discovers the terrorist’s plan but because the enemy’s base is located in Northern Iraq, for political reasons it cannot be attacked by the U.S. military. Navy intelligence offers Masters a chance to clear his name by performing a secret, off-the-record mission. Recruiting many of the retired pilots from the old team, they plan to fly into Iran using unmarked warplanes (from a friendly government)- in order to bomb the rebel base and destroy the Rainmaker . Once there, everything goes wrong. Doomed to death, betrayed by friends, and left in the Syrian desert, Masters and his team find an unexpected partner - an isolated battle group from the Russian Air Force. Fighting side by side, the Russians and Americans go into the final battle together. Finding himself in a fight to the death against his old partner Tom Craig and a lethal terrorist organization, Butch Masters must find a way for his ’new team’ to battle against evil and save themselves as well as millions of unsuspecting innocent victims.
