Summary
Ginastera – Bernstein – Moussa: Œuvres pour violon et orchestre du violoniste
Andrew Wan et de l’Orchestre symphonique de Montréal dirigé par Kent Nagano est
un nouvel album magistral offrant des interprétations exceptionnelles d’œuvres
majeures. Enregistré en concert en 2019, on y retrouve le Concerto pour violon, op.
30 de Ginastera, une partition qui ne requiert pas moins de sept percussionnistes
maniant une cinquantaine d’instruments, l’imposante Sérénade pour violon solo,
cordes, harpe et percussions de Bernstein, inspirée du Banquet de Platon, et le
Concerto pour violon « Adrano » de Moussa, une création mondiale et une
commande de l’OSM.
