Cesare Picco, in his new album Original Sin, intermingles sounds from diverse sources, particularly concentrating on the sound of the clavichord. Neglected and overlooked for centuries, the clavichord produces too fragile a sound to be considered in a concert setting. Picco, however, explores the intimacy of this instrument in these eight tracks. Cesare Picco (b. 1969) began his musical journey on the piano at the age of four. Over time he wandered from his traditional classical training into jazz, contemporary, and experimental music. He is an Official Yamaha Artist.
