On this release Hungaroton recorded a short story by the American writer, editor and literary critic Edgar Allan Poe. “The Murders in the Rue Morgue”, translated to Hungarian by Árpád Pásztor, has been recognized as the first modern detective story of literary history. The mysterious story is performed by Péter Haumann, who is a Kossuth- and Jászai Prize winner Hungarian actor, director.
