After being part of an international tango company, a group of random musicians formed the Quinteto El Escarte in 2007. After the chosen artists toured for three months throughout the US, they chose to stay together as a performing and recording ensemble based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Quinteto El Escarte performs almost exclusively original compositions, as this 11-track release shows.
