The stunning attributes of Lynda Carter (TV’s Wonder Woman) were first fully exposed to filmgoers in this love-on-the-run thriller of a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. Marjoe Gortner (Food of the Gods, Mausoleum) stars as Lyle Wheeler, a quick-draw expert who fancies himself another Billy the Kid. Together with Bobbie Jo (Carter), a drive-in waitress with aspirations of fame, they embark on a fuel-injected crime spree across the American West. Directed by cult filmmaker Mark L. Lester (Class of 1984, Firestarter) from a screenplay by Vernon Zimmerman (Fade to Black), Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw is free-wheeling mid-’70s independent cinema at its finest. Co-starring Gerrit Graham (Phantom of the Paradise, Used Cars).
