One of the leading tenors of the 1980s and 1990s, Jose Carreras is still a figurehead in the Classical music world with his yearly charity concerts. In honor of his 70th birthday in December 2016, this outstanding limited edition gift-box set is being released, featuring three discs at a special price. The three concerts in this box set are live recordings, and come from the Vienna State Opera, 1988, the Bolshoi Theatre, 1989, and the Mission Dolores, 1990. When I was a kid, I was listening to opera and studying music. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I liked, and I was dreaming about making it happen. (Jose Carreras)
