Summary
Un dimanche à Kyoto s’ouvre sur Comptine en mode zen, interprétée à l’unisson, annonçant une rencontre musicale exceptionnelle. Se succèdent une pléiade de petits chefs-d’oeuvre – 17 titres en tout - dont la jolie berceuse Tu peux dormir la ville veille interprétée par Luce Dufault, les comptines La petite Adèle et La petite Annette chantées par Pierre Lapointe, une fort belle reprise de La danse à Saint-Dilon par Martin Léon, Le grand cerf-volant rendue avec brio par Ariane Moffatt ou encore Le poème d’un enfant, livrée avec beaucoup d’émotion par Luc De Larochellière.
Le disque nous permet également de découvrir Garou en conteur dans Les trois fils au vieux Maltais de même que les talents d’interprétation de Jessica Vigneault avec, notamment, Les quatre oeufs – une des huit chansons qu’elle a composées avec son père pour ce projet.
