These conditions apply to all sales made over the Internet via the www.renaud-bray.com website or through the Librairie Renaud-Bray inc. Customer Service.

1. Orders

2. Availability of items
All orders are filled at our Internet warehouse. The 200,000 products that we have in stock are generally shipped within 48 hours. Books that we do not keep in stock can generally be ordered, and are shipped within a period of two to three weeks. However, Renaud-Bray cannot be held liable for failing to meet posted delivery times. If a supplier informs us that an item that has been ordered is no longer available, the customer will receive a refund to that effect by e-mail.

3. Price
Prices that are posted on the www.renaud-bray.com website are in Canadian dollars, and do not include taxes or delivery charges. Books are sold in compliance with the provisions of the
Act respecting the development of Québec firms in the book industry. The price is payable in full in a single payment at the time when the order is placed. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars. For delivery outside of Canada, all customs, duties, and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Items refund for availability issues are also paid in Canadian dollars. The currency exchange rates used are the ones from the order date or the refund date. Renaud-Bray commits to refund the same amount invoiced in Canadian dollars for the unavailable or returned item, but cannot be held liable in any way for any currency gap because of the exchange rate used by the client bank.

4. Delivery charges
Delivery charges include preparation and packaging fees, along with postage. They are determined based on the delivery address, the number of items ordered, and the total value of the order before taxes and delivery charges. Customers cannot combine orders in order to benefit from a reduction in delivery charges under any circumstances.

5. Payment
Orders that are placed via the www.renaud-bray.com website must be paid for by credit card. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Orders that are placed by mail or by telephone may be paid for by money order.

6. Delivery times
A period of two days must be allowed for processing products that are in stock in our warehouse, and an average of three days must be allowed for a delivery inside Québec. Renaud-Bray cannot be held liable for a delay in delivery resulting from a shortage of stock or caused by the carrier under any circumstances.

7. Product returns
Items that are sold by Renaud-Bray.com are new and guaranteed to be without defect. If an item is found to be defective, or does not correspond to what was ordered, Renaud-Bray undertakes to exchange or refund it, including delivery charges, within 10 days following the delivery date, on the condition that it is accompanied by the delivery notice or a copy of the Renaud-Bray.com invoice. During the Christmas season, products purchased between November 1st and December 31st can be returned until January 24th 2017 included. Please note the items purchased on December 26th are final sales and cannot be returned. In order to return an item, the customer must visit one of the 31 Renaud-Bray locations, where personnel will process the exchange or refund. A customer who cannot travel to the location must call the Renaud-Bray Order Department in order to take the appropriate steps. A customer who would like to return a product that was purchased on Renaud-Bray.com for another reason may choose between a credit note or a refund. The exchange must take place within 10 days following delivery. However, if the product shows no defect, the return will bear a 10% administration fee and delivery charges will not be refundable. If the client benefited from a free delivery, the administration fee will be 20% of the returned item sell price.


8. Digital products
Customers can download digital products purchased on the www.renaud-bray.com site as soon as the transaction has been accepted. The number of authorized downloads and number of devices upon which a given digital file may be installed may vary without prior notice, according to the distributor and publisher. The digital files acquired are works produced by the authors and are therefore protected by the Copyright Act. According to the law, digital files can be purchased solely for personal, private and non-commercial use. Any reproduction, collective use, resale or rent is strictly forbidden and can be subject to legal proceedings. No exchange, credit or reimbursement can be accepted once a sales transaction of a digital product has been confirmed. In no instance will Renaud-Bray be held responsible for any compatibility issues between a digital product and an electronic device, in particular as a result of developments in reading software or technical data protection measures, except in cases when the product description displayed is inaccurate. Finally, Renaud-Bray is not the owner of the files and cannot guarantee the availability of these files for additional downloads in the future, when more than 72 hours have passed after the purchase. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to save the files purchased through the site Renaud-Bray.com and to make copies of the security of these files.
